St. Stephen Women's Guild

What We Offer

The Women's Guild serves as the means by which the Catholic women of the parish may speak and act as a unit, to support the work of existing parish organizations and to support acts of good will among civic and social agencies of the community. We assist our Pastor as needed or requested. We also promote personal devotion to the Most Blessed Mother Mary by encouraging the recitation of the Rosary on the first Saturday of each month. We offer a women's retreat every two years. We sponsor the Marthas which provide receptions for families at the time of funerals. We offer food and support to family and friends of a deceased person. We operate the parish thrift store, have fund raisers, support the Knights of Columbus of our parish, and have inspirational speakers at our monthly meetings. We support the Religious Education Congress, youth retreats, Cinquo de Mayo, Guadalupanos and other activities of the parish. We send greeting cards for birthdays and anniversaries of our members and get well and sympathy cards to members of the parish. We also support our pastor and deacons.

Meets: Last Wednesday of every month at 7pm

Location: Briscoe 1
